I had the pleasure of working on another youth engagement project for the City of Melville PHAZE Youth Mural Program.
‘BOUNCE’: playful, lively, energetic bouncing around, dancing, let’s bounce (go out)…
In the design workshop we decided on a fun 90s aesthetic – bold, modern and crisp design style. With abstracted geometric shapes, grids, patterns, lush gradients, a super cool keyboard, iconic smiley face and slinky down the bottom it’s an artwork that sure puts a smile on my dial!
Big ups to the young team @hitelimit @g.g.g.e.or.g.i.a @frumpylolita @_zoja.k_ for their hard work in translating the concept and painting it onto the built form.

The mural provides a vibrant and playful backdrop for the area and it’s been great to see some selfies popping up.
