Murals

Exterior and interior murals for commercial, private and community

I have been designing and painting murals in Perth for many years, for both private and public spaces. Each mural is unique, created specifically for the client brief and location. I am experienced in small scale privately commissioned murals through to large scale public murals spanning 40 metres or more over multiple surfaces. I enjoy working three dimensionally, painting walls, footpaths and street furniture to create artworks which intrigue when viewed from different view points.

Although painting vibrant abstract murals is my specialty, as a graphic designer I have the ability to create in a number of styles including using minimalistic colour palettes, geometric, patterns, modern contemporary and more.

My Perth mural service includes community workshops culminating in murals. I guide participants through collage and other freeing creative processes, to develop individual artworks. I then create a blended design from each of the individual artworks. I also facilitate community painting workshops in Perth, with people of all ages enjoying painting murals during workshops and at Perth festivals and events. You can read more about my workshops here.

I am available to work throughout the Perth metro area, regional WA, Australia and internationally. Working with the wider project team of my company CURATE publik, partner Sean Byford has extensive experience managing silo murals and other large scale mural projects. If you’re a regional town with a water tank, silo or large building looking to activate it with a stunning mural, drawing tourism to your town, please get in contact. Assistance with applications for funding is also available.

What my clients say:

Sioux Tempestt was one of four artists selected to be part of the Paint Subi project in November 2017.  In a line up that included two international artists and two local artists, Sioux provided an innovative mural design for site no. 4.  Throughout the project Sioux was professional, resourceful and hard working.  She engaged with the community, taking part in the art walk tours and publicity.

The installation week was unusually hot, with temperatures over 35 degrees, making the work site difficult to manage. Sioux took this in her stride and finished on time.  The resulting mural is bold and dynamic which is perfect for the location.  I would recommend Sioux for future projects.
