The last few weeks have been spent mainly running the new artisan collective, UnchARTed on Beaufort St Mt Lawley. It’s great to finally have a permanent place to exhibit my work and share space with many other Perth creatives. I was unsuccessful in my first public mural submission (not surprisingly as there are many other artists who have painted hundreds of murals to comete with), but thought what they heck, I’ll give it a go. I’d love to paint a large scale abstract if you or anyone you know has a blank wall… The painting pictured here (detail) is a background for an art competition. I’m really pleased with how it turned out and will share the finished piece with you soon. The lovely cold weather is a great excuse to stay indoors and create.
